UNDER-FRAME:
The under-frame will comprise of steel longitudinal cross members of channel / box section, designed to support the hydraulically operated scissor lift mechanism, van body and the payload. The lifting capacity of the mechanism would be 1000 kgs. plus the weight of the van body. Under-frame would be fitted to the chassis using brackets, high tensile U bolts with “Balta” packing. Drilling of holes on the chassis / modifying the chassis will be avoided.

The construction would confirm to standard body building practice. Adequate sizes of aluminum alloy extruded sections/tubes/plates would be used for vertical and horizontal members of van body structure.

The floor would be of 3 mm thick aluminum chequered plate/ribbed-flooring plates, fitted with plated machine screws to the structural members of the under-frame. The floor supporting structure span would not be more than 300 mm will be fabricated out of steel pressed sections.
